Excellent karaoke venue overall! The rooms are spacious and perfect for large groups. There's a great selection of Chinese food and drinks, and the £25 entry fee per person can be used as credit towards food and drinks, making it fantastic value for money.
The only downsides were the microphones, which didn't work properly, and the song system, which was a bit confusing as many of the options were in Chinese. Also, the drinks were served warm, which was disappointing.
Despite these issues, we had a great time and would definitely consider coming back.
Had such a great time here! The location is super convenient and easy to find. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the sound system is really good — perfect for singing.
The best surprise was the food! It was delicious and way better than I expected. Service was nice and thoughtful too.
Overall a wonderful place to hang out with friends. Will definitely come back again!
WOW is all i can say! I have been to other KTVs but this one is hands down the best in UK I have been to. The songs were all very new and tons of rap, R&B with a system that is super easy to use. Food is ordered through the panels and unlike other KTVs that serve precooked or frozen food rubbish, their foods were actually very decent and near-restaurant quality! Huge portions and great taste, i ordered the pork noodles and chicken stir fry. Both were amazing. Glad I chanced upon this new place!

How do I book a room?

How many people can fit in a room?
We have a range of room sizes. Smaller booths are perfect for 4–6 people and our larger rooms can host bigger groups of up to 50 people. Tell us your group size when you book and we'll match you to the right room.
Do you serve food and drinks?
Yes – we offer a full kitchen KTV with Chinese food, street food, snacks, sharing plates, cocktails, and drinks. You can check out our latest options on the Food & Drinks Menu.
Can I celebrate birthdays or special occasions?
Absolutely. We're popular for birthdays, society socials, pre-drinks and after drinks parties. Let us know if you're celebrating and we'll help make it special.
Is there a minimum spend or deposit?
There is a minimum spend of £25 per person which all goes towards your food and drinks spending.
No room fee. A deposit is required for all bookings (deposit amount may vary on Fridays and Saturdays).

What are your opening hours?
Level 8 KTV is open from 2pm to 6am, 7 days a week.
What are your age restrictions?
Level 8 KTV is open to all ages, but you must be 18+ to consume alcohol. We operate a Challenge 25 policy, so please bring valid ID (passport, driving licence, or other government-issued photo ID) if you look under 25.
Can I cancel or modify my booking?
Yes, you can cancel or modify your booking. Please contact us as soon as possible by calling 0161 247 7999, by WhatsApp or through our contact page. Deposits are refundable if cancellations or changes are made more than 48 hours before your booking time.
Is there parking available?
We're located in Manchester's Gay Village (Canal Street), which has limited street parking on the surrounding streets. There are several paid car parks nearby, including NCP car parks. We recommend using public transport or taxis, especially for late-night visits. The venue is easily accessible by tram, bus or on foot from the city centre.
What songs are available?
We have an extensive song library with thousands of songs in multiple languages including English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai and more. Our karaoke system includes popular hits, classics and the latest chart-toppers. You can browse and search songs directly from your room's karaoke system. It is updated every 1-2 weeks automatically to include the latest songs.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted. We offer a complete menu with Chinese food, street food, snacks, cocktails and drinks. Our menu is designed to complement your karaoke experience and all food and drinks must be purchased from our venue.
What are the Friday and Saturday minimum party sizes?
On Fridays and Saturdays (peak times), the minimum is 3 people for 6pm slots, and 4 people for bookings after 9:15pm. Earliest online booking time is 6:00pm, available until 3:00am.
Can I request a specific room when booking?
You can note a room preference in the additional message on the booking form, but requesting a specific room does not guarantee it — rooms are subject to availability and we will match you to the best available room for your group size.
Is unused minimum spend refundable after my session?
No. The £25 per person is a minimum spend for your session, credited toward food and drinks during your 3-hour booking. Any unused balance is not refundable.
